Tis easy, just cut and bang out the old pins, and makes removable pins, if I coul do it again, i'd keep the stock brass bushing and use a smaller pin, whereas I ditched the sleeve and drilled the hole out, oh wells

just be careful when you cut it or your door could fall off and than you have to weld the mount back up and the door doesnt line up right again it happened to me....two door doors are heavy

I have mine removed on my '00 but they sag. Its because the pins dont fit perfectly anymore because the hole for the hinge on the car lost the bushing that goes in it. I think I am describing the accurately. Does lowes have something that drops in that can make a hole smaller?

well idk about making the hole smaller, you could buy replacement bushings to put in the hinge, but i dont think theres anything out there that can make it smaller. what i did was buy 3/8 x 3" cotterless hitchpins and just drill out the hinge a little until it fit snug.
