i usually can get to it from the top of the motor if not use a long extension and a swivel socket

Its a pain in the balls no matter what you do. Prepare to spend about an hour with your hand down there behind the engine. Good luck

yeh.. bout a ten min job.... use about 3 feet of extensions and a swivel...
go from the cross member to the 2 bolts on the cps....

also its nice to have a friend reach from the top guiding in the bolts while your underneath...

alright....also i have a haynes manual and it said that the cps also sends info to the computer about fuel pressure etc....think this could constitute to my 10mpg maximum? since i plugged it into a scan tool and found the o2 sensor was sending relatively normal levels back to the cpu. and is that an hour to take it out or for the whole process?

its really not that difficult. 15 min tops. Be careful not to drop the bolts into the bellhousing on accident.
