regardless of the frame hydro is necessary to handle such large tires, and i would rather get a kit with a warranty and parts that are made specifically to work with each other. Also everywhere i research tells me to buy a kit and not piece it together because everyone says they get problems in the long run.1991 YJ, 1 tons, locked, lots o armor, stretched, cage

As far as the kit, I see what your saying so I guess to each his own. Just from what I have heard, the kits tend to much more expensive than putting together your own hydro. But I can see where the warranty would be nice.

with a danfoss orbital valve there is no mechanical linkage but even when the vehicle isn't running and the pump isn't turning the orbital will still turn the tires. for legality i can always disassemble the steering box and leave the draglink so it looks like its there1991 YJ, 1 tons, locked, lots o armor, stretched, cage

From what I have heard, there is no reason why full hydro can't be legal (i doubt most cops would know the difference). I believe there are even some factory semi trucks that use full hydro from the factory.

idk.... full hydro isnt that bad.... sure there is no mechanical linkage but it doesnt mean its not safe.... do you trust airplanes, jets, commercial vehicles.....
my point is dont be scared cuz of the full hydro name... if your goin down the road and pump fails... you can still turn.
if its done right than you should have no worries.Originally posted by Ktmracer419some people choose video games
