  • XJ 44 brakes

alright so i've done some searching and i can't find a straight answer anywhere......

Will ZJ 44 brakes be a direct swap onto the XJ 44???

and if not, is there any rear 44 disc brake set-up that can be easily and cheaply swaped in??

i read a thread on pirate, where you use zj dana 35 discs, and you just fill the exsisting bolt holes with weld and drill new ones to bolt it up to the xj 44. i just wanted to see if there was something easier i could try before going about beginning this project. thanks.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I have heard the Ford Crown Vic rear brakes will swap on. But i am no a 100% sure. The only direct bolt on kit is from Tera Flex or Rustys. Did you check naxja?

1999 XJ will get most of the 2000XJ doodads.

I also think that they sell a kit to swap the ford 8.8 disc brakes on to the xj44, not a 100% positive

if you dont want an e-brake you can use monte carlo calipers and can have discs for like $120. (gotta get $10 weld on brackets and not that kit tho)

did you get your e-brake to work?

not yet, the cable on the passenger side is too long, and the cable on the drivers side is too short, so until i figure out a solution then >
