with the 97+ usually anything above 3-3.5" will require a SYE

yes. the stock slip yoke driveshaft looks like this and slides in and out of the t-case, which will bind up when lifted
you need to get a double cardon shaft and SYE

i just put in the PORC SYE in my 99 and used a stock front shaft in the rear. 25 for the shaft, 175 for the SYEP8R
