My ongoing electrical/battery issue...

x2 I have a guy that would do it for $60, and it takes him about a 1/2 hour

turns out i used the wrong post on the alt. i tested the right post today and the alternator checks out ok on the volt meter at ~14. so does the battery.

so now this is a major problem for me, i have 1 day. any suggestions are welcome. telling me "test grounds" doesnt help me as im not savvy at all with the cars electrical system so i dont know what to actually test.

with the help of sam over the webs i actually just tested the neg terminal on the battery to the pos point on the starter and got a reading of 4.38, whch leads us to believe the cables onthe battery need replacing.

i got a good post to clamp reading, and i could get continuity from the battry to the fender and block.

so im replacing the battery cables tomorrow.

you guys can swing by still, we have other work to do, i am out of there at 240 for work til 6 though.
