so i dont have any pics yet....but last weekend i backed into a tree pretty hard....hard enough to separate the floorpan and shift it about an inch upwards...not 100% sure how yet cause i only glanced at it in the dark. but it appears that i WILL need a porta power to straighten it out again and i may have possibly damaged the rear sub frame connector thingy (not sure what you wanna call it) anyways, need some suggestions on how to strengthen it up a bit back there. my bumper kicked ass and didnt get damaged however the frame/subframe took quite a hit from that. will post pictures tomorrow sometime for a clearer visual of it all.

For the time it takes to make them its not even worth it. They arent too expensive.

well, its partially rotted thru so thats why it broke. i thought the rear subframe bent but apparently not...looks to me like that bumper is mounted on there in a manner which allows the frame to take the hit though...didnt tweak the shackle mount or anything else. just folded up there a bit. it looks bad but not un driveable really. plus its been a smidge messed up since i bought it so it makes an excuse to fix it. i think if i pull it out as far as i can and put the plating on as you mentioned it should be fine. its not my DD so it doesnt have to drive 100% straight-00 XJ. 3.5", 33s.
