To swap in an 8.25 you will need to change where the leafs bolt onto. An 8.25 from a XJ is spring over(the spring is on top of the axle) and yours is spring under(the spring is under the axle.)

I know but i dont want another d35 if its just gonna blow up on me tell me what i would have to do to put in a 8.25 so i can do it i have all i need i have an uncle with two diff garages in milford and west haven that i can use with lifts i just need to know what i need and how pricey it will be ill get it in no problem95 Yj 4.0, Flowmaster 40 series exhaust, Blue Hids and Yellow Fog Lights, K&N air filter, 2" Boomarang shackles, and sway bar and track bar removal.
