    Guys, this guy is probably the smartest person ever about jeeps. IF he says he has a rear dana 30, then HE MUST HAVE a rear dana 30.

        Damn i looked up online the difference with pics of the covers and it looks like the dana 30 ...... Sorry schooled me ima no nothing bout axles....
        So i should replace with a 8.25? it is stronger and also is it a easy bolt in?
        95 Yj 4.0, Flowmaster 40 series exhaust, Blue Hids and Yellow Fog Lights, K&N air filter, 2" Boomarang shackles, and sway bar and track bar removal.

                Im sorry i dont know axles i got it out within an hour ive never done it before im 17 im not as experienced i tought my self so far in life what i know bout cars and jeep i dont know axles my fault Everyones picking on me

                    If you need help swapping axles let me know, I can help. You just need to get another D35 from a YJ with the same gearing to swap into urs. We're just busting your balls dude, dont take it to heart.

                        All im asking is how difficult it would be to put a 8.25 in my Yj i dont need smart comments im looking for info i would like to learn about it so i dont mess up with it so quit bashing me over it

                          Its ok man, everyone gets bashed here one time or another..... keep in mind this is the Shenanigans Thread. I don't know too much about swapping axles into a YJ but throw this up in the tech board to ask for advise. We do have guys in here experienced with D35's of fail
                          I don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulp

                              You need a d35 out of a yj to be an easy swap, the axle needs to be spring under.
