I'd use my portable Milwaukee bandsaw, that thing laughs at 1/4", but a wheel will do the job

Keep a steady hand and make sure you spin INTO the material and it will cut very smoothly.

wear gloves and hold the fuck on. keep the wheel straight in the cut and dont let it catch the sides.
