jeep wont start

drove 1 mile to a stop light stalled towed it home
1. no gauges work
2. cranks over but no firing
3. fuel pressure good
4. thought it was coil replaced still no fire
5. new cap and rotor

any ideas?

x2 on that one, There's a few sensors on there to check too, Crank being the most common one to have those symptoms from what i see and hear. like he said though, check for other stupid stuff first though.

Possibly an ECM issue?

I know alot of dash signals run through it so maybe the dash is dead because a main ECM fuse is blown.

If definately sounds like somethign sensory, not mechanical. If you have fuel pressure and spark, the engine should fire unless something electronically is disabling it from doing so.

EDIT:

Injector signal sounds plausible, it would still say you have pressure at the rail but no gas entering combustion chamber=no fire

turning the key on and off? would this show anything? i know the overdrive light would blink for transmision issues

def check the crankshaft position sensor.

with a oscilloscope (graphing multi meter) you can check all your sensors such as crank an cam position sensors.

stop throwing parts at it dude. you need to do some research and spend some time with a multimeter

this, i made the same mistake you did, ended up throwing over 400 bucks in ignition and fuel components before realizing my ecm fried.
