loose/lost nuts

ever loosed up bolts in your unibody and the nut side either breaks free or when you go to tighten it back up its lost what did you do to solve this

i did a little looking around and found this

Welded up a new nut-cert. This happened on the exhaust on my Power Wagon so I took some steel strips, drilled a hole through it, welded a nut to the backside and then welded it to the frame.

i loosed my nuts all the time! cut the bolt off with a grinder then ^^^^^^ follow those instructions.

yeah thats what i thought just seeing if anyone had some secret unspoken way of doing it

what im going for is i was loosening my bumper to put on a skid plate and broke those nuts free in the subframe

ya probably going to have to cut them off then replace with new hardware. out alot of never seize on them when you reinstall
