  • Frankenstein lifts

Does anyone have an opinion on Frankenstein lifts, I have a 2in bb and swapped in rubicon springs to help level it out. I already have a winch and am going to add rockers, 40lbs each. Do I swap in 2 or 3in springs. I'm curious if you you think 3 might be too much or go 2 and then add a small spacer if needed.

What exactly are you trying to achieve for tire clearence are you trying to run 33's? Or stick with 31's?

i would definitely recommend zj coils, they really help to level you out in the front witht hat extra weight you add. my tj had a winch when i was at stock suspension height and the front sagged. i added zj coils in the front and i got level. so in your situation:

(you) 2BB spacers all around + zj front coils = level
(me) stock all around + zj coils = level

these 2 setups would be equal in terms of LEVELNESS remember, not height obviously. you may have to try different setups beyond that though if it doesn't work exactly right.

Yes, my mistake I'll be staying on the 31's. Thanks for the input. How much longer are the zj coils than the tj's.

X2, no longer but stiffer spring rate to account for more weight on them
