Yesterday the abs pump on my 90 Cherokee ran for ten minutes straight. The sputtered and stopped. Brake light came on and my pedal is xtremely hard then it goes to the floor. Jeep barely stops. Anybody run into this issue before. This is my only car and need it not loosing brake fluid or anything either..

Have never had the ABS part happen but something got into the system on my Dakota and killed some seals in the MC. The pedal was hard until you slowly pushed the pedal. Your foot would go to the floor when you slowly push the pedal. I quick pump would stop the truck but not a slow push like you would under normal braking.Molten Motorsports - #4343/4443

exact thing happened to me dude. There's this crazy high pressure vaccuum ball thing that always goes bad. I cut my losses with that bullshit system and picked up a 96 master cyl, booster and prop valve. Made a huge improvement in braking power, and pretty much bolted right in.1993 XJ sport 3.5" rustys 33" MTZ's armored.
