It's all done, i drilled it and it turned out fine. Took a long time but it didn't rip from the rubber bushing.

You got a vice right? Get a socket that fits around the bushing and another socket that O.D. fits the O.D. of the bushing. Put that socket with the wrench end on the bushing and the other one around the bushing. Put that assembly in the vice and boom you got a press
