  • upgrading a d30 & locker

    looking at shafts and found these two they seem to be the same but ones cheaper and the second one doesn't look complete to me

    im going to be locking the front and im wondering i i should get a selectable locker or just get a regular locker and spend the extra money else where. would like opinions from people who DD with them i no Bigbike has one and says its not bad

      dont waste your cash on yukon shafts, especially on a dana 30.
      i have an aussie and alloy ujoints in my 30 and thats about all ill spend on a dana 30.

              It all depends on what size tires you plan on running. I run 35s with a hp30 stock shafts with the stronger ujoints (297x or what ever it was) 456 gears and spartan lunchbox locker. No problems so far yet but im not really droppin the hammer. If you upgrade the shafts and ujoints it transfer your weakest link somewhere else, In this case being the R&P. Best of luck
