Ive never had an issue with timken unit bearings... have you removed them incorrectly and reinstalled them? that could damage them

I hear that over torqueing the bolts can lead to premature failure. Make sure to torque them to spec.2013 F150 fx4 (Tow Pig/DD)- 5.0 with the 3.73 option

when one of my bearings had alot of play in it, I replaced it with one from napa (get big discount from work)and it held up great more expensive but 3 yr warrantyup to 40% off parts from advance auto parts, buy online and pick up at store for free-click here!
