  • Heating Core Replacement

Bought a new heating core today since the air is semi warm always. Anybody have any tips or suggestions on replacing one in an 01 tj? Anybody do this themselves yet?

        Is it leaking.
A good trick is to just reverse the flow (swap the too lines) usually clears it out. Worked for me a bunch of times.
        then return the heater core.

If your air is semi warm try to just flush the heater core like suggested.

If i flush the heater core then do I even have to worry about getting the refrigerant purged from the air conditioner first? The cores not leaking that i can tell. Its a bit cold when its -10 in the morning.

No you dont have to worry about purging the refigereant because you arent opening the ac system.
