Well we see this stuff differently. You see it as an improvement I see things like TB bores, spacers, air intakes, ect as the same price as a master install kit which would be better in the long run. But not my money

I also see it this way too. All the bolt on stuff will make you cry with a before and after pull on a dyno.

          Agreed.

IMO Increasing the size of the throttle body won't do that much cause the ports in the intake manifold are still the same size, you're not really creating a way to let the motor breathe that much more.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

maybe a little but with a 2000 n up intake it would deff help alot more.

99-01. And not all that much, the intake doesn't change the size of the ports.

you also have to remember that the late 99 and up intake has equal length runners as well

I like the one I had, my 99 wrangler had 63mm TB, header/spintech exhaust, smoothed out exhaust/intake ports, CAI setup and mustang injectors and it went pretty good. now was it a huge difference in power over stock ? probably not. but throttle response increased, plus at higher rpm the intake made a nice sound I could accelerate pretty good with being in a heavy armored up TJ on 35's . i could do 80-90mph on highway.

63mm TB, full header/exhaust in my old commanche
this video is a 4rth gear pull with 5th gear to go. it would easily do 115-120

I have one. I had a CAI and exhaust before and to be perfectly honest they make zero noticable difference, the only thing I noticed is the intake whistles less.

i wouldn't do this at all. i used to run this setup when i was wheeling more mud and it was obnoxious. i can still hear it now that it's back under the hood, but it doesn't sound like a jet taking off a foot in front of me
