water proof speakers

has anyone used the "marine" speakers that are water proof whats the sound quality from them

I don't have any personal experience with those but those are water-resistant anyways. I don't know of any waterproof ones off the top of my head. I have installed some Bose speakers on an offshore racing sailboat and those held up well...until the crazy kiwis decided to blow the speakers haha. Id go with Bose if you can afford them.
