I don't have a fuel pressure gauge ill pick one up. The fuel filter and pump aren't very old, 6 months? When I let the fuel out of the rail it seems like its got way too much pressure for some reason, air and fuel come spitting out. Once its all out and I prime it by turning the key/fuel pump on, that's when it runs fine for a few minutes, then it goes to shit.

Does anybody know if my 96 definitely does or does not have a ballast resistor? It seems like that's what it would be after doing some research. Any ideas on a similar control or something like that if mine doesn't have one?

      update..fixed

So after screwing with the fuel pump, finding out there was no ballast resistor on my jeep, and tightening/ cleaning connections and whatnot I found out my alternator is junk. My neighbor and I were screwing with it, put the battery booster on it and it fired up and ran fine. I figured since I cleaned some connections and the cps and stuff that that did the trick. However, when I took the booster off, it sputtered and died right away. So I hooked it back up, fired it up, took it off for a sec, revved it and it wanted to die, but as soon as I put the cable back on it was running fine. I'm going to have it bench tested just for the hell of it but its garbage. I'm going to start replacing alot of wires in the next few weeks as I've had nothing but bad connection problems with this thing since I got it. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
