  • another death wobble question

So i recently got a xj, lifted it 2in and pulled the sway bars.then the story goes like this, every time the wheel is turned to the left and I hit a bump, the jeep goes into the wobble. I'm pretty sure an adj. trac bar or trac bar drop mount will cure it? True or false?

how are the bolts/bushings on the track bar, is the bracket on the body tight, and if you just added 2 inches of lift, you need to make up for that with the trackbar adjusment

i used to have this and it made my drag link and trac bar have different angles. i wouldn't recommend it

so its been about a week with no DW... since I dropped the Trac bar

today i had a noticeably low front left tire, after i put air in it and got it level and back to normal. I had the wobble then? So I let the air back out... and no wobble....

                    any ideas?

are your lugs tight? if not the wheel might move around a bit more when it's inflated more

something has to be loose. the low tire is probably absorbing the wobble. could be a bad bearing being loose or tie rod end. hows the alignment

When i lifted my XJ i had a death wobble and after getting an alignment it fixed the problem. the toe was off causing it to death wobble. maybe the same problem.
