hey guys i have a 2000 cherokee i just recently changed my oil and now my oil pressure gauge goes to 80 (where it pins out) when i start it and after it wrms up i goes down to like 60 but with any gas it pins out again and stay there until u let up on th gas. before i changed the oil it would warm up at about 60 than drop to around 30 than with gas back up to 55-60. is this okay that its so high? happen to anybody else? please help

I bet its your sending unit. Go under there and jiggle the wires and make sure the sensor is plugged in tooI don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulpComment

What kind of filter did you use? Fram's are notorious for sucking shut which would raise your oil pressure.1993 XJ sport 3.5" rustys 33" MTZ's armored.

hook up a mechanical gauge to it as the sending unit and gauges are more of a rough estimation IMO.
