    so i got a deal on some 5160's and i was wondering what any of you guys know about them they basically look like a 7100 and a better version of 5150's. need some words of wisdom here before i blow some money

    honestly never seen one in person but from what i understand

    theyre a 5100 monotube with a reservoir on em, OEM mountable (stem), and i believe i read somewhere theyre rebuildable.

    im actually not sure where their market is as opposed to the 7100, but maybe that has to do with the stem mount/OEM applicable nature of em...and the fact the res has a nice swivel mount on it stock for the hose

      ya they look pretty fancy i found some articles on em and people seem to really like them i just want to find out if they are rebuilable before i purchase

          it looks like it has a seperate dust cap (different color) which would lead me to believe they are able to be taken apart for rebuilding.

          also looks like the reservoir has a recessed end, which would prob mean a lock ring...but on the other hand i dont see a schrader valve for charging it...hmmm

                          those 5160s are way too new to find a good test i bet. I havent heard of anyone running them either. im sure they are good but i dont think they are rebuildable

                              these things are badass. we carry them for the jk's now. if you want come up to the shop one day next week and check em out. only shitty part about em is the price.
