I have read about a couple of people removing an upper link on trail rig with short arms... but have never heard of anyone doing it on a dd... I assume because of the forces on the stock upper axle mount...
I have an idea... I will have braced to fawk Control arm drop brackets and will be building my front axle. On most 3-links I see the axle mount looks something like this
http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/...ree-p-286.html.
So if I truss the 30 with the link bracket tied to it this will work amIright??? I will run a traditional Rodend/rodend upper control arm...
It seems to me that this would be no different than a mid-arm 3-link or long-arm.
Is my logic off???
