1 Ton Issue

when turning the wheel left and right the bottom drag link end joint rotates forward and backward causing about an 8th turn of play in the steering wheel, other than that everything is fine, any ideas?

get poly spacers for your ends and have a ball

true fixes? get crossover steering.

band aids? poly or HDPE spacers on the TREs.

alright so it is normal then, thats all i needed to hear, just didnt want it fallin apart on me when i had the kid in the truck. where do i get said spacers just to make it a little cleaner?

This is exactly why I'm having my steering custom made from hiem joints- no slop.

ohhh yea zach... lol thats why mine dont do that, i have a lil polly space that came wit my kit under the pass side TRE it stops it from moveing like that

My 1 ton ends do that too. I have the same setup on my YJ. The spacers are supposed to work really well. The only reason I didn't switch to heims is because I keep bending the 1 ton tie rod ends and they are easy to get at any parts store.

spacers. you can buy a sheet of hdpe and cut out your own spacers.
