Something from a 35/242/aw4 combo is best. but I measured mine and the stock front from a 231/ax15 does not fit a 231/ax15/8.25 even close (about 6 inches short fully extended.)

V8 ZJ works in the front for AW4/231. I have one.

By in the front you mean the front shaft out of a V8 ZJ works in the rear correct???

If it works in the front of a 231/AW4, it should work in the rear with an SYE.

              So yes.

newer V8 ZJs have a cv joint on the axle side of the driveshaft so that wont work gotta be 96 or older V8 zj shaft I guess
