  • help now !

i just found out my 98 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4 I6 4.0 has a cv joint on the front differential and the lift kit i was going to buy (http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_zj_4.html) says that it does not fit models with a cv joint on the front differential so does any one know a lift kit preferably 4" that accepts the cv joint or a solution to getting around the cv joint
    help!!!?!??!?!?!??!!??!?

i have never heard of this issue, nor do i understand why that lift wouldnt work regardless.

is it a cv on the front driveshaft or the axle shafts?

Im pretty sure it is a driveshaft CV, I have seen grands with these before. Why dont you just call them up and ask why it wont work.

Otherwise to get rid of the CV you would need a new driveshaft and yoke.
