that came out sweet mike! i thought about doing that with mine, cause i kinda dont like the bolt mounting style and with tnt stiffners on the way i was trying to figure out how to work it.

good to see it done though, takes my worries about doing it
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

95% of my rockers were rot free. There was just one tiny spot that was rotted and I poked at it and made it bigger and it pissed me off. My drivers side was solid though

drive to the mainland, find some rocks and dent them

or take all of the rocks on long island and make a pile and drive over that

You're going to want to have some sort of uniframe stiffeners, or else the tie-ins won't work very well.

Couple I stole from a build on Pirate. These are high clearance and go through the floor, but you get the idea.

What Evan posted is exactly what I'm doing, except not through the floor and I'll be throwing skids between the rails

i'm thinking about doing this to my rockers with my jcr sliders. though maybe running the supports to the frame rail and plating over them, making one big flat skid plate on each side. along with a massive belly skid it should be pretty indestructible. thoughts??
