smitty built is the only one i was even thinking about because its cheap lol and i might get a high lift jack to tractor supplie sells them for like 60 bucks

id go with a smitty built once i kill my current one. but get a true hi lift and not some knock off.

Ya they have some other nock off jack but the high lift is like 20 bucks more and alot nicer. I just need a way to mount a winch now bumpers are way to much money.

you are never going to need a winch, unless you decide to be a dumbass and drive through a river or some shit. tow points and a hi lift are all you'll ever need for recovery as long as you don't wheel alone.

i've never seen a winch do something a tow strap and another jeep couldn't.

ok im sorry but another jeep will never be as good as a winch at pulling some one out. I could use this winch in winter if my plow truck gets stuck or something winches come in handy.

what if you need a side pull and there is only 5' next to you. not enough room for a jeep. i have plenty of instances where i needed my winch for self extrication and the extrication of others.

alex has saved my ass with his winch. i needed a forward pull from the front from a jeep, and a side pull at the same time from alex's jeep parallel to mine using the winch off of a snatch block on a tree to my rear tow point.

that was a fun fucking day

I'm saying I don't think it is the smartest buy for josh to blow 300+ dollars on something that i don't see him using very often(if at all) when he already has financial issues trying to run 33's

There are plenty of people on here that would benefit from spending the money on a winch, but imo josh isn't one of them.
