  • grill hoop stinger

what are everyone's opinions on grill hoops and or stingers.
im kinda dead set on a grill hoop, but im on the fence about the stinger.

my plans for the grill hoop is that my "tube fenders" would be welded to it, and the back of the fender welded into the cage..

    for reference:

How much did that gem run you if you don't mind me asking?

The grill hoop is a must, as for the stinger i'm not a big fan of really big ones, if i were to build one it would be as small as possible but still protect a winch.

$450, used, but never used lol

thats along the lines of what i was thinking, i dont like the looks of the big ones, BUT they help you in a side roll over by digging into the ground (i've seen plenty of first hand examples). so maybe if i make a medium one

I like the looks of flat top stingers.

Bad picture of one, but just to give an idea.

Needs to be a bit bigger than that one, but the reason I like this type of stinger a little bit better is because its still functional without being as big and stupid looking. just like the looks alot better.

If you ever run a winch the stinger helps protect it
