Sorry i will clarify for you alex, I power washed it once and waxed it twice,first coat is an after winter cleaner wax and second coat is a pure carnauba wax.

Yes i still have to paint my spare, i am gonna do it before summer, i just lost motivation after the other 4 because it took almost 3 hours a wheel to get them done, the right way, and now i need to go back to the other 4, scuff them all and re shoot them with a coat or two to cover up some big scratches i put in them last year, but that wont be till later this year cause whats the point, before summer where they are only going to get scratched wheeling again.

Today i cut the stock front bumper at angles and put a coat of rustoleum gloss black on it to make it look a bit nicer and i painted the gay chrome tow hooks i put on so there is no chrome.

I also removed my trac bar, disassembled, cleaned and re greased the super flex joint as it was nasty and i put in a new axle end bushing as the metal sleave in it seems to wear out every year or tow. No more slop in the steering.

Hopefully i can change out those LCA bushings this weekend, and i should be fixing my jeep with my mechanic tomorrow after work so it runs right again, he says he knows whats wrong so we will see what happens.

Now to getting these frame stiffeners and WJ steering/brakes installed. LOL

you replacing the superflex races or the rubber ones?



I think your stiffeners are doing a great job holding your garage up. Why ruin a good thing?

No replacing the body end rubber(super ride style) bushings with new ones and cleaning and tightening the super flex joints.


and yes the stiffeners are doing a superb job in my garage but id like them to do their real job eventually.


SO my running like crap issues got solved today, The 6 month old TPS was bad and my IAC had to "Learned" to the computer. My mechanic did all the work for me, ive been going there for years and hes always helpful when i need it so it only cost $60 out the door for about an hour and a half of work.

Plans are going in a different direction it seems. I will inform more later once final decisions are made, not explaining now. More to come...
