Do want dubjay. How are the pins working out so far?
so far no problems, the door hangs down maybe an 1/8" if that and has very little play but when it closes it slides ride into place...havent taken them off yet though lol
progress is very slow, when 5 oclock comes around the last thing i feel like doing is working on the jeep so it going slow...also all the sheet metal i had on the bmper in the previous pics i cut off and sanded i had a real hard time welding it..it was only 16g cause i wanted to keep the weight down but it got all warped and i wasnt happy with it...SO
im replacing it all with 1/8"..also i added some bracing to the mounts which i messed up cause they got warped with all the heat from welding so i had to widen all the mounting holes and bend the mounts alittle..
pretty much not happy at all with the rear bumper lol, or with my lack of motivation to get the jeep ready which is why i missed this weekend...im more than sure ill be done by august...
so siked just put my front shaft back in and tested 4wheel for the first time since november...my tc didnt explode so im glad the 8.8 gears definitely match the 30 lol...of course i went up the block and climbed some wall in the parking lot...i am itching to go to rauschhh...
stayed late after work, almost finished the tire carrier...still have to add gussets, tire mount, latch, and the top piece is not going to be nearly that high...
Are you going to make the bumper go a little more flush with the bottom of the tail lights?

yea if you look at earlier pics in this thread i had it almost done but wasnt happy with it because i was using such thin metal it was hard to weld and it got all warped...
i cut it all out and im going to redo it with 1/8"..

alright im really bored sitting here waiting to go to a wedding...how do you guys think it will look if i paint the fenders/bottom sides of my WJ like this guy did
go to open the swing arm and open the rear hatch i find that its hitting the tire needing ~ 1/2" to clear it
i thought i checked everything over i think the combination of getting the tire real close to the window, and the angle i made it sit at is what screwed me...im thinking im gonna redo the swing arm and make the tire sit offset to the driverside instead of in the center...bummer
Looks good man! Im almost dont with mine, but I have to work on the tire carrier portion, the tire hits the shit. Kinda jealous to see your tire on man.
