Decided to truss the 44 yesterday so i woke up nice and early and got it done today. My buddy cory lets me play at his shop and he welded the truss to the cast chunk. Just pre and post heated it and used normal mig wire. We shall see how it holds up.

Forgive my lack of expertise but what does the traction bar do for off roading? I know they are used in drag racing to keep the axle wrap down and help keep the tires on the ground at the track but how does it work in an off road articulation scenario? Ive just never seen any modded jeeps with them before.

They do the same thing in this application and the heim will help with any binding issues that seem to come up.

it clearanced the floor a little more but it worked great. doesnt inhibit my travel and seems to keep my axle from wrapping. overall im happy with the $50 or so i put into it.
