YAY! got my thread back!
anyway. i was bored earlier today and simply decided to cut down my brown dogs rather then spend $100 on some new ones and have these sitting around making awesome paperweights.

looks like im gettin some chinese wannabe borla header as well. will be swappin that in along with possibly some fancy intake manifold the same time i stick these mounts in.

this. Some of the spots are hidden pretty well under the tubes, but it's not terrible.Originally posted by clean4drxj View Postit's a slight pita because theres little room, just make sure you have a set up extenstions and some swivel sockets.2000 XJ: "The Black Jeep"MK2 Jetta > M3Chairman of the Chechnyan Space Program

i did the motor mounts while i was in there and it was a 2 hour job total. all you really need is a 3/8 socket set with a few extensions and maybe a swivel.Originally posted by ninetysix-ex-jay View PostHow much of a PITA was it to do the exhaust manifold? I need to do mine. Did you replace it with an OEM part?
i was putting it off for a while because i thought it would be a lil more of a project. but i started it one morning, when i finished i checked the time and went "holy shit, it's still morning"
i replaced it with the one from my 96, so yea, oem.
