The old build thread from the old forums: Here

    To be updated later today..

March 2004, when i bought it. the jeep started life as a stocker as does any other jeep

got tired of being "stock" so i put 30" ATs on there in june of that year...lol.

then, it was time for my first lift. a rustys 3" AAL in jan 05 to see if i liked this whole wheelin thing.

then i bought some 31" ATs for the lift, with new rims off a YJ sometime in feb 05

then i took it to paragon for its first real wheeling foray in june 05

then it was time to step it up. july/august 05 brought an RE 4.5" superflex kit

my 31s were way too small and yes i knew this, so i ordered 33x10.5s

added a bunch of stuff over the course of 06, including a 4.56 regear, dana 44 swap, and locker

then came march 07 and i put in a big order

T&T Customs XJ Y-Link Suspension Upgrade
    T&T Customs XJ 1.5" Boomerang
Rubicon MFG Mono-Tube shocks (Set of 2)

    Total: $1,201.33

    -----------------------------------

    JKS SHOCK CONVERSION PAIR

    Total: $29.99

    --------------------------------------

Bilstein 5150 Reservoir Shocks 255/70 Valving 10" travel (Set of 2)

    Total: $224.51

    Grand Total: $1,455.00

    -------------------------------------

Tomorrow i go on to spend
    5 - 35x12.5 Cooper Discoverer STTs - $925.00
    5 Mint Ravine wheels - $200.00

and that should do it. 2,580 dollars later.
    which resulted in this

So then 07 came and went, 08 came and went, the jeep stayed relatively the same throughout with some small changes. spent most my time just fixing shit. and wheeling all the time.

Added a WJ crossover steering conversion using WJ knuckles/brakes/custom linkage

The rest is caught up in the build thread

This is my first "no-nothing" update i suppose, but i need to get my ass in gear for this jeep to be squared away this month, so im compiling a list i can go by of things i need done by months end.

Just bought a set of these for the rear

Buying these bumpstops this week probably and fabbing some DPG-esque bumpstop plates for them to attach to. cuz im tired of ruining rear shocks and leafs

Need to repair my cracked frame at the steering box.

Need to replace my steering box with one out of a durango i have sitting around.

Need to buy a TRE to complete my steering conversion finally.

Need to cut off and replace the shock stud on the driver rear axle mount.

Need to get a 4.56 r&p for the rear and probably regear once again. Or at least change all the bearings.

Need to get a new breather hose/fitting for the 44.

Need to replace the bearings and seals on my spare 44 shafts

Need to replace 2 lugs on the rear axle shaft, driver side.

Need to drain rear diff and put new fluid in, water is nogood.

Need to cut off and remount rear custom bumper mount flanges so that it will fit.

Sounds like you got your work cut out for ya. When did you realize that you cracked the frame at the steering box?

                          Get cracking.

The insanely tight tolerance between the bumper and the hatch is about the thickness of a piece of tape...
