    • Looking good, i still cant believe how far this thing has come since the last time i saw it.

How do the sliders attach to the jeep, i am assuming it uses the stock shackle bolt and something else right?

                      • Hmmm these leaf sliders look pretty interesting, may have to look into getting a set along with some new leaf packs. My old RC 4.5" leafs are more like 3" these days lol.

                          • Well I am certainly not looking to be a snake oil salesman. The sliders eliminate the need for a shackle and the usual need to "relocate" them. Changing a "bushing" (UHMW) is retardedly easy and quick, not to mention dirt cheap and not proprietary. In addition there are a lot of "in theory" statements I have on these, but I am honestly not going to comment on how great they are until I actually use them for any amount of time. As of right now I have 1 very very mild wheeling run on them, and no speed testing. The ones I had on in Johnson Valley didnt have proper clearancing/height and the potential suffered as a result, albeit didnt perform poorly based on that.

However I will say if I didnt think there wasnt a gain to be had with them, I wouldnt have put them on my XJ (obviously). I will have a full report with all the goods as soon as I can on em.

Also realize that the moment i changed to sliders is also when I went from RE leafs to Deaver leafs, so there is a substantial change there as well that I need to sort out between the 2.

                              • So do these equal to stock shackle height? I'm looking to replace my old eBay shackles and these look like a good option. Also need to figure what shackles to run before I buy new leaf packs.
