inverters are where its at. i have another pure sine wave one i need to wire into the back of the jeep once i get my dual battery setup. Ive been eying and HID kit for my Hellas for over a year but i just cant justify it cuz i barely use my rooflights...someday when i have spare cash.

I have a 2000watt one within 4 feet of my battery for my front one. The problem with most inverters is that the attachment clamps are made for smaller gauge wire so even if you run larger gauge wire it still "bottlenecks" at the connection point because you have to trim the wire to connect it. my pure sine is only 300 watts and I got it free so I'm still debating actually ever using it or not. But there aint no kill like overkill.
