installed the res shocks today after gettin a new stud welded on



the bumpstops workin



this is where they hit, dunno if i wanna cut the stock ones a bit to let it go up more or just leave it.



turns out my brakelines are too short now with how they mount on the WJ calipers when im at flex. i dunno if theres a way to spin them or not, but the flat ridge on the caliper that keeps the lines from spinning i guess is on top of the bolt hole, not sure if getting rid of this is advisable, so i can mount the lines facing up and not towards the rear of the jeep




i still have a major issue with my brakes, no matter what i do the pedal is really soft and only stops when im to the floor, im replacing the master cylinder and brake booster this thursday with alex. also my durango steering box needs to come out, i get about 1/3 turn as i did stock going right before i reach full lock of the box. come to find out some durango boxes need to be taken apart and a spacer removed for them to have the crrect lock to lock on the xj. no idea why. so i got a brand new stock OEM box through a warranty alex had so that will be going in thursday as well.

you can probably grind away that flat peice on the caliper. i did it on mine to get my lines to fit cuz they werent made for an xj and just make sure its straight when u tighten it and it should be fine.
