LOL, thanks, it was not expected but not not welcomes either. Both our families are thrilled and we were planning on trying to have a baby within the next two years any way.

Oh and Alex, that bearing seal should be in your hands by wednesday. as you can imagine the last few weeks have been a bit busy for me but i finally send it out.

Pretty much anything and everything i wanted to do is on hold as i am getting married in a few weeks na di have a baby on the way.

I also sold my JK wheels and put my stock wheels back on.

I installed my Firestone Coil Rite kit today. Its freaking cool, i love how it rides and the adjust ability too. I cant wait too hook up to a trailer. Pics are not the best but its getting dark out.

This is the kit i bought here.
      http://www.fsip.com/riderite/products/crinfo.shtml

There is another brand called Air Lift but i heard it was much harder to install. This kit took an hour to install and no drilling or coil removal was needed. All i had to do was jack it up to release pressure off the springs, remove the bump stop, deflate the air bag, squeeze it in the coil, hook up hose and top rubber spacer/protector and run the hoses.

I ran both air hoses along the sub frame in the back to the drivers side rear corner. I bought a Tee at a local supply shop and then i ran the single line of hose up behind the tail light. there was a factory hole with some tape on it behind the light so i went through that, drilled a small hole for the hose through the second layer of sheet metal and then mounted the valve next to the cargo tie down and aux power port.

This should really make a huge difference when towing. If i max out the air bags i can get about 4" of lift in the rear end.

Pass side Rear Brake Caliper seized up on me today. Not horribly as in wheel lock up but the rotor is blue and purple from over heating and the wheel was scorching hot.

Calling tomorrow to order new caliper, Drilled rotors and ceramic pads.

If the price is right i will do front and rear drilled rotors and ceramic pads.

                  Yea, Sucks LOL.

I checked everything out and my E brake shoes are also fucked. After i took the rotor off the shoe disintegrated i assume from the heat.

Scored a set of nearly new take off Calipers fro my friend who put SRT8 Brembo brakes on his WK.

Also checked out my front rotors and pads and the pads are down to wear marks so i am going to do a front brake job while i am at it.

Glad this is happening now and not 6 months from now.

I finished the Jeep this week. It took a while for the parts to arrive from california but it was worth the wait. Its stops on a fucking dime now.

New rear caliper on pass side, Painted all 4 calipers Silver for bling. Bled the entire brake system to get rid of the nasty dirty brake fluid.

New E brake shoes and hardware

New E brake handle/lever (stock one has some damaged teeth on it because for some reason it kept slipping off when i pulled the lever)

Drilled and slotted rotors, Zinc plated front and rear.

Posi Quiet Ceramic brake pads front and rear.

The install went very smooth but when i did the pass front brakes i noticed a puddle on the ground and come to find my strut is pissing like a bastard.

Ordered new Bilstein struts and i will install them next week at my friends shop.

They only sell the E brake handle in a nice leather wrapped style with chrome trim in Dark slate gray. Sigh LOL It actually goes really nicely with the rest of the console stuff vs the stock khaki plastic lever.

The stopping power is 10x better now and my E brake actually works too!

Hopefully some time next week i will get the new front struts in.

I want to but its really not in the budget. And you can use SRT sways on a lifted WK.

If you had read, The E brake handle would constantly snap back after being applied. After taking it out some of the teeth on the handles mechanism were all fucked up.

So I finally managed to get my front struts installed. Yellow Bilstein struts. They are so much better then the stock struts.

I had plans to put some Bilstein 5100s in the jeep and i found the proper length but they done make any that have the proper size sleeves for the shock bolts in the shock eye.

So in that case i am going to get the matching Yellow Bilstein rear shocks that are meant to pair with my struts. I can also get them from my friend who works at autozone for about $50 each vs $85 each. I will order those this week.

I might also have a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires coming my way. I need new tires as mine are on the wear marks and these are in good used condition. They are a true 32" tire. (265/70/17) They will be a stuff but they will fit. I might need 1/4" spacers up front to clear the upper ball joint.

They are not what i want and i am NOT lifting it but they are cheaper then new tires and i dont have $600+ for a new set of tires. The gas mileage will get a bit worse but for now i can deal with that.

                              I will get pics later.

Ok. So the tires are a NO GO. It was going to cost $200 just to ship a set of $75 tires. I am all set with that. That and the kid said they are super loud on the road and thats why he is selling. I am all set with loud noisy tires too.

I will just keep saving for new tires.

Most likely going to get General Grabber AT2s. $125 each (cheapest i can find w/o getting no name tires) and they scored better reviews then the BFG AT and have a 60k mile warranty. BFG AT no mileage warranty and $200 each.
