Ok, did a little research, the Fortera SL is only available for larger rims. No 17" rim sizes listed on the GY website. So those are out. Looks like i will save up for a set of General Grabber AT 2's and save my stock Fortera HL tires for highway use and when they wear out i will get another set of them new or used.

I got my 315/75/16 AT2s for 160 a piece. they are much cheaper than BFGs and like you said they are studable if you wanna go that route

Had a little fun on some light trails today. its so weird being excited for stock flexing after so many years of looking at a huge obstacle and taking a pic, now its exciting to find a rock, tire or curb. LOL

Well it will have to do for now. Saving up to pay off whats left of my bills and buying a house next year is more important then a wheeling rig.

Just bought a set of 17" JK Wrangler Rubicon Moab Wheels. Had them on my old XJ and i wanted to keep the tradition going. They should be here next monday. Going to put them on the stock tires for now. I think i have a buyer for my stock wheels to pay myself back as well.
