went over to Street Rod for a quick look at how the tub was progressing.
Wednesday was a slow day didnt get a whole lot done. Part of the day was spent filling out paper work to get my tub into street rod and then paying for materials and then actually carrying the damn tub from the Compound to their shop because the damn forklift had a flat tire.
We did manage to get these Fish Plates cut out and tacked down
My helper Kevin trying his bare hand at TIG welding.
A look at whats involved in nightly cleanup. Everything that can be moved is moved to one side of the shop and that side is completely swept, then soap is spread out on the floor, then water down and scrubbed in by the brooms then squeegeed into the drain. Move everything to the clean side repeat, then put everything back where it goes.
Some of MY TIG welds.
Managed to get all the fishplates TIG'd in by the end of Thursday night, inside and outside of the frame rails.
Didnt get a whole lot done today. Spent to much time taking measurements and making plans for this front grill/radiator support, then i decided i want to get the grill off the old frame so that took a few minutes. Justs odds and ends things today.
Went back over to street rod. Some progress, things are looking good just wish they were moving along faster but i'm not going to rush them.
made some Gussets for the front bumper
Then started on the front grill support crossmember.
When i was over at street rod i cut out the jeep logo from the old rocker panel that was about to get thrown out. Decided to clean it up and weld it on the rear bumper
awesome work dude, makes me hope i could do something like this someday
