ill get eliminators one day. an eliminator kit for disks is over 200 bucks.

stock 8.8 carriers are weak

and a mini spool only adds to the stress on that carrier.

if it was me i'd be happy rockin a full case though

i dont think ill break a carrier IMO. full case spool is 160 bucks or so. plus over 200 for c clip elims. I could spend that on D30 gears. just my opinion.

Im not out to beat the fuck out of my jeep. If i was racing or something i would consider a full case. just how i feel about it.

The shop i bought the axle from (The 4x4 Place. remember them from RCROCS? they sponsored a few peeps), said I shouldnt have a problem either.

Spool and Ruffstuff parts came in. Looks like ill get to building this thing this weekend but sadly wont be in for club comp cause im still waitin to order D30 gears.


Oh and front stiffys are on. still waitin for a time to do the mainframe ones

What's the reason you decided for a mini-spool instead of welding the spiders? Seems like a waste of a few bucks to me, but to each his own.

my friend broke an aussie in his 8.8, turned out he cracked the stock case.. which is a known weak spot.

35s, stage 2 clutch, 4.56s
