Contemplating axle options.
1) 8.8 4.10 discs out of explorer. aussie/riddler. and getting 4.10s for the D30.
2) XJ 44 4.56s. aussie/riddler.
3) keeping the 29 spline. gear to 4.56. already have aussie and riddler.
None of this is probably gonna happen anytime soon unless I find and 44 or 8.8 prebuilt within the next couple months for a good price.
but what do you guys think? D44 bolts right in and will be fine for 35s. 8.8 is a little stronger, but will require some minor fab work. I guess the major question is, is it worth it to gear the 29 spline? Plenty of people have rocked 29 splines on 35s with minimal issues. I may just rock the 29 spline of 3.55s until a sweet deal on a pre built 44 or 8.8 comes my way
soooooo thoughts?

well how fast do you feel the need to regear? are 3.55's bearable for now? or do you want mad low gears yo right now?
i also support the use of the 8.8, for 31 splines and disc brakes. No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
