Link to the start of the project: http://mrmontez2000.proboards70.com/...ad=8632&page=1

With the tax return finished, the 31's will be on in the next 2 weeks.....hopefully as long as I can get the front end lifted up.

And starting this sunday ( yes, THIS sunday )......I will start the Jurassic paint scheme....at least the layout. Painting and decals will go on in the next 2 months.

After looking over the paint scheme, I noticed I had a small issue. The Sis stickers I have on the sides of the hood would be in the way. But since its not going to be a show vehicle, I just going to break the gunmetal up at that spot and continue it over the hood and cowl.

Also, with the windshield possibly on its way soon, the frame will get painted in gunmetal also, to really match the theme.

            Some more progress today...

The one bad wheel sanded and ready for prime and paint...

And the old bushings pressed out of the leaf springs ready for poly's:

After the poly's come in and get installed, the 31's will be mounted

Yeah, man, we have been running around on our free tires, and even did a trail run with them already, what's up with you?

Seriously though, let me know when you want to get started on this stuff.

Here's a timeline for you impatient people

Leaf springs installed next week when bushings come in, then the 31's get mounted, and then after that i'll worry about the paint. I have the materials, just waiting on warmer weather so it's done right.
