Yeah 3.55's. I really just rather get the added traction of the locker and be gentle on it then wait around to do gears and then a locker. Its gotten to the point where I don't even have an interest in wheeling unlocked any more.

I also use this thing to just cruise around 97% of the time, and I am liking being able to cruise at 70 around 2.3k rpms. Not sure I want to be doing 100 mile trips sitting at 3500 with this old 4.0.

Fair enough but.. The 4.0 likes the R's more than a the load.

This and.. dont expect to change your mpg because it's not going to ever be the best but your power will be much better!

The max torque is shockingly high for this year;Output: 1987-90: 177 hp (132 kW) at 4500 rpm with 224 lb·ft (304 N·m) at 2500 rpm. 1991-95: 190 hp (142 kW) at 4750 rpm with 225 lb·ft (305 N·m) at 4000 rpm. 1996-01: 190 hp (142 kW) at 4600 rpm with 225 lb·ft (305 N·m) at 3000 rpm. 2001-06: 190 hp (142 kW) at 4600 rpm with 235 lb·ft (319 N·m) at 3200 rpm. I actually have tons of power left when I cruise at 70. I barely need to stay on the throttle.

Tell me about it. I was just looking to hide the rust but after the first coat I was astonished. Its just flat black rustoleum from the automotive paint section at home depot.
