    lookin gooooood

so far the progress is going a little slow, but for the first time bending tube i feel it is looking reallllly good (perfect to me) and its really tight up against the body.. thinking it out and finding all the angles takes some time but im sure things will speed up after a couple more tubes... hopefully next weekend the cab and front will be tied together.

im sure corey can add to this later.... maybe some better pics of the main hoop??

                            • Put a waggy pitt arm on it today and really have some very tight turning now which is a definite must for comp

This thing is a real dog driving on the highway and its all i've been driving for the last 3 weeks and is getting very annoying having to be full throttle on hills. SO i did some investigation. Popped my air breather box lid and was greeted with an oil soaked filter. Great.

Commenced cylinder pressure test and found that cylinder 1 was at around 105 psi. Squirted some oil in there and got it up to 125 pounds which was where the rest of the cylinders were which indicates bad rings. Put shop air pressure to the cylinder and had some pretty good air blowin out the top of the valve cover so looks like this engine is on its way out. Really gotta start doin more homework on an engine swap and figure out exactly what is best for the rig and what can be done by comp time. More cage is done but I don't have any pix. More work to be done tomorrow
