Who says I won't wheel that often? really guys this is all research right here. No purchases made, no set officialness of plans. But preparation is never a bad thing right? If do or don't do anything either way figuring it out first isn't an awful idea right?

Absoluely he does make really good points. Having people give a different side is exactly what I want. I need to see what's realistic along with what isn't. So keep em coming

Lifting, gearing, putting larger tires on the jk will not void the jeep powertrain warranty. It is trailrated for a reason. Jeep obviously will not warranty any aftermarket parts or problems directly related to offroad use, aka dents, rock rash on wheels, broken axles or driveshafts. Though, it will mantain the warranty on the motor, tranny, transfercase, brakes etc.

Although each dealership is different, so you need to check with your dealership's policies.

Just thought you should know that.

If putting 33's on her Jeep WILL void the warranty then how does gearing not?

Have you called a Jeep dealer about this because I have and thats the information they told me

every dealership is different, i talked to a customer that ran 35's on a rubicon and blew a rear ring and pinion, his dealership covered it under warranty.

The only way that those parts will NOT void the warranty is if she buys mopar parts directly from mopar. Mopar has their own performance parts (axles, etc) that she can put on, but that is mad money

like i said every dealership is different, i talked to the people at milford jeep once as well and they told me the same thing. Modifying the jeep with any aftermarket parts, will not void the warranty, they simply require an inspection after the work is done.
