Hench, I have a scanner. Some codes won't trip the light until they've been active for x amount of time. I can stop by this weekend and see if anything shows up.

I had the ASD fuse blow last year once or twice. I haven't checked into it further with this problem

I have seen a few come to my shop with this issue. We swapped PCMs, ASD relays, crank sensors, distributors, you name it. On both occasions it turned out to be the starter. I dont know what your symptoms are besides occasional crank and crank with no start. But, when the starter is drawing too much amperage, there isnt enough power to get a signal from the crank sensor. no signal, no spark. Both of these situations were intermittent no starts that would crank and crank (as if no spark). If you havent changed the starter, it might be a good idea depending on your symptoms.

(que the part where you say "sorry, did that already" )

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

Haven't done the starter yet but one day after work when it wouldn't start Dillon pulled a plug and there was no spark.

I already did the distributor, swapped the PCM. Maybe I will try a new starter. It sounds like the same issue.
Thank you Andrew. Looks like I'm gonna tr replacing thr starter, if it doesn't work.

Is there a way to check if its sucking too much amperage? Or is my best bet to just swap out my starter?
