On occasion it will start. And run fine. Other days it will just crank and crank.

Does the CEL come on when you key it on when it doesn't start? Gas gauge and volt gauge work when it doesn't start?

When the jeep doesn't start have you checked if the ASD is pulled in and you have power in at the PCM?
